In its new ad campaign for the tournament, Fox Sports imagines a world where it actually happens.

With just over a month until the World Cup kicks off, Fox launched its campaign around the 2026 World Cup, starting with a spot called "Miracle."

The ad envisions the USMNT and Brazil facing off in the final on July 19 in New Jersey. Christian Pulisic takes a last-second corner kick, leading to the tournament-clinching goal.

With the Elvis Presley song “The Impossible Dream" playing in the background, the country erupts.

The ad features cameos from several USMNT players including Pulisic, Tim Ream and Diego Luna, as well as former U.S. coach Bruce Arena. Fox Sports analysts Tom Brady and Zlatan Ibrahimović also make an appearance.

The last cameo comes from Mike Eruzione, captain of the "Miracle on Ice" 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team. Eruzione, as you'd expect, has some opinions about miracles.

“We really wanted the tone of this spot to evolve as you watch it, beginning with something that feels like it’s grounded, but quickly grows to be more and more improbable until finally reality can’t resist calling,” said Matthew Woodhams Roberts, chief creative officer of Special US, which made the ad along with FOX Sports Marketing.

“Of course, then we have Mike Eruzione and a living reminder that no dream is too big. So, we’re saying there’s a chance…maybe.”

Jaylen Brown never shies away from voicing his opinion and that didn't change following theBoston Celtics’109-100loss to thePhiladelphia 76ers.

USA TODAY Sports

Brown went on the streaming platform Twitch on Sunday, May 3 to discuss what happened inGame 7and spoke about the officiating. Brown had been critical of the officiating during the regular season and believes it played a role in how things were called during the postseason.

“They clearly had an agenda, maybe because I spoke so critically of them in the regular season,” Brown said on his stream. “I actually spoke to some refs, and they told me there’s an agenda going on each game, every time Jaylen puts his arm up, just call it.”

Brown explained that it was a simple basketball play that several other players do.

“Philly took advantage of that and the officiating and it cost us to some degree,” he added.

The five-time all-star also shared his displeasure with76ersstar Joel Embiid.

"Flopping has ruined our league,” Brown said. “Joel Embiid is a great player. One of the best bigs in basketball history. Flops. He knows it.”

Brown also made mention of a back brace he was wearing during the broadcast, saying that he was dealing with back pain after having to guard Embiid and the size difference between the two players.

Brown is listed at 223 pounds. Embiid is listed at 270.

Brown showed a clip from Game 7 where he was seen guarding Embiid while saying, “I tried to bump and throw my weight and I felt something in my back give out.”

The former NBA Finals MVP said he wasn’t willing to share some of his grievances until after the series had ended because he didn’t want to be a distraction for his team.

Dolly Parton cancels Las Vegas residency and steps back from performing amid health concerns

Dolly Parton has canceled her Las Vegas residency due to a health issue.

Yahoo Entertainment

The 80-year-old country singerannouncedlast year that her Las Vegas residency, which was set to begin in December 2025, would be rescheduled to September 2026. However, in anInstagram videoon Monday, she said she had some “good news and bad news.”

“The good news is I’m responding really well to meds and treatments and I’m improving every day,” Parton said about an unspecified medical condition. The bad news, she explained, is that it will take her a “little while” to feel well enough to perform, meaning her Las Vegas residency will be canceled.

Parton, whosehusband Carl Dean died in March 2025, said that the medication she has been taking for her condition makes her a little “swimmy-headed,” so it would be difficult to play guitars and banjos in “5-inch heels” and rhinestone outfits. “And you know that I’m gonna be wearing them,” she said. She compared her body to a classic car that needs some fine-tuning before it can get moving again, better than ever.

“I've told you before that I've always had problems with my kidney stones,” theJoyful Noiseactress said. “Lord, they dig more stones out of me a year than the rock quarry in Rockwood, Tenn. But seriously, my immune system and my digestive system got all out of whack over the past couple of years, and they're working real hard on rebuilding their strength.”

Though she won’t be able to perform, Parton said she is still working, and is especially focused on herupcoming Broadway musical, which she hopes fans unable to see her in Vegas will be able to enjoy in the future.

“Plastic surgeons can make you look as good as you can on the outside, but it's serious business when you're talking about internal medicine,” Parton said. “But I have great doctors, and they assure me that everything is treatable.”

She also thanked fans for their support in the year since Dean’s death, noting that they are who gave her strength as she honored the holidays and other special dates without her beloved spouse.

This is not the first time the “Jolene” singer has spoken out about her health. In October 2025, after her sister Freida Parton scared fans by writing on social media that she was “up all night praying” for Parton’s health, the Dollywood founder confirmed that everything was OK in anInstagram video.

“I wanted to say, I know lately everybody thinks that I am sicker than I am. Do I look sick to you? I'm working hard here,” Parton said in the video.

The video came less than a month afterParton postponed her Vegas residencydue to a few undisclosed medical procedures. That same month, Parton alsomissed an eventat her amusement park, Dollywood, due to a kidney stone complication.
